Fedora Extreme"Sickle Curve" Preview WoW pic!!!

This is my commitment bow for this year. I talked with Mike and Jason Fedora of Fedora bows extensively.Mike told me to come meet him and he would "custom fit and build me a bow that would fit me exactly". Well as soon as i met him and his son Jason,  i knew that i had found the guys for me.We went over the Pro/Cons of everything from longbows to recurves,tabs and gloves,strings, arrows,point of aim ,instinctive shooting,gap,three under,split etc,etc...We then talked about many of the greats like, Hill,Pearson and Bear. What a grand experience. I wish i knew 1% of what he has forgotten. I always love meeting a true master of their craft. That is exactly what Mr Mike Fedora is. Not to mention the warmth and hospitality i was shown. After spending approx 3 hrs with me and my father Mr Fedora never asked me for a dime. I left and three more phone calls later i ordered this bow.  Then came the wood choices , i am a huge fan of cocobola but couldnt make up my mind. I told Mike the coloring i was looking for and he said "just leave it to me and Jason. Well i got a call and was told that my bow was being made from African Sappele wood.I was concerned as i had never heard of it before.Mike said "dont worry this bow is beautiful, and i will make sure you are happy". Well this is what came in the mail. All i can say is wow. Pics do not do this bow justice.As you turn the bow the 'figured wood, and different laminates just seem to come alive.. Hope you like it. Wow! That bow is beautiful.  The Fedoras are great people.  I have an Extreme hybrid that shoots great.  Congrats on the bow.

I have not had a chance to take it out and really test it yet. I have only shot it in the basement, and 5 arrows outside at dark and 15 degrees out. I will say that this is the quietest recurve i have shot.  I have new arrows coming from Mike as well, and will be testing this bow extensively. The "Sickle" limbs are their newest design for the Xtreme.What drew me to it is the wild looking deflex in the limbs. Full strung pics to come.

I have always considered to order a Fedora because he is one of the older and more experienced bowyers.Congrats on that beauty,post some reviews.
