I have a longbow listed on this site for trade but not getting any hits. So my question is can ten# be taking off? If so who does this kind of work? Any info will be a big help. John

John,

Your best bet would be to call the bowyer who made it and see what can be done.  Nobody's going to know better whether that much reduction can be done without jeopardizing the bow's integrity.
Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons; people are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Jv,
Johns right, the bowyer should have the records of that bow that will let him know how much weight he took off at the time he made it.The amount he took off the limbs to adjust the bow weight to what it is now.Although 10#'s would be a big request.Good luck

JV Rooster

Thanks guys. I gess my best bet is to sell it.
