Cured Turkey Trouble With My Longbow

Dave, I'm shooting 66# and an arrow over 650 grains and the arrow didn't punch all the way through. It broke the wing bone going in and seems to have stopped on the outside. Took out all the vitals. This was at 15 yards. I was using a 125 gr Snuffer. Turkeys are tough.  I've arrowed 6 or 7 now and have never shot through one.

My lucky shooting continued this morning and I was able to put two arrows exactly where I wanted them. The new TimberHawk Falcon T/D is shooting really good. I was able to take both these deer before work this morning. Made it into the office by 9 AM. My wife gave me very specific instructions to get us some more deer meat and to NOT shoot a big buck. I actually had a nice 2.5 year old buck in view when I shot the spike! Full story is in the NY Southern Zone thread.
