Two Tracks suggested someone edit the subject on the original post, but this is probably the next best thing.  I posted this in a couple other threads also.

Just got off the phone with Martin Archery, and was told by the operator (the only real person I could get a hold of) that the rumor is NOT true. The Damon Howatt items will have a separate flyer, but they are NOT "closing down".

Thats good news, not only for the archery world, but for the folks who work there.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

That is the information I just got from my contact at Martin Archery as well.  Thanks for posting the facts.

I found something interesting when I was reading around on the subject and figured I'd pass it on.

Martin's websites are registered to Terry Martin, but there's a damonhowatt.com website registered to an individual in Tennessee. Not exactly sure why that is, though. It could be somebody "camping" the address and hoping to sell it to Martin, or it could be somebody contracted with either Martin or Howatt to set up a site for them, or who knows what.

Now I don't want to start another round of speculation. This is just something that sparked my curiosity.

My wife does web sites and not all of her clients are close by. It is very possible that the Tenn. connection is legit.

All kinds of crackpots register domain names.  Doesn't really mean anything as to who owns it.  And it could be completely innocent in that it's a collector of Damon Howatt bows.
