I have the martin rebel and its a small bow.  I really like it because i like to hunt small confined places.  Im shooting 53@29.  IS this bow good enough to take a deer or hog?  I really like the bow

pj starrett

the reason i ask is everyone says that its a bow meant for bowfishing.

It is if your shooting it good....it'll kill em just like any other bow will..

Your Rebel is absolutely up to the task of deer and hogs.  It's not really MEANT for bowfishing, it's just a good bow for it.

It's a nice bow. If you shoot it well use it with confidence!!

The hog won't know it was shot by a Rebel.  It only knows the impact of the arrow and the Rebel will do just fine.
