NEW WOOL!!!!!

Well My Friends, Some times it pays NOT to go hunting.....

Saturday the 17th, I hunted Opening Day untill about 11am. I promised my lovely bride of 22 years that I would be home by noon, After all it was our anniversary!!!!! We went out Saturday night for a nice dinner,and then to a movie. We had a wonderful evening and on the way home,she asked if I was going hunting in the morning. I told her yes,to which she replied "Please bring me home a Sunday Paper when your done". You've got it Darling,consider it done!!!!! I get up Sunday morning,feed and walk the dogs,then head downstairs to get dressed in my hunting clothes and grab my bow and arrows. I'm ready to go and as I'm heading for the door,I look out the picture window and It's POURING RAIN!!!!! Oh well,back downstairs,get undressed,climb back into a nice warm bed!!!!! Looks like a good morning to take the Mrs. out to breakfast.....

Monday I didn't hunt,I was busy getting things packed for our annual anniversary trip to the Poconos(tues.-fri.) Well,we get down to the Resort and find out that the Activities Host just happens to be on vacation this week!!!!! Ahhhh NUTS!!!!! No fun&games!!!!! Well,says my Beautiful Bride..... WE CAN GO TO THE OUTLET STORES!!!!! :rolleyes: No Problem Dear.....Whatever makes you happy!!!!!

So off we go to the "Outlet Mall" and as we are pulling into the parking spot the Mrs. says..... "Look,They have a Woolrich Store"!!!!! Hmmmmm,well I'll be danged..... Then, My Lovely Wife says, "Go in there and buy yourself an anniversary present from me".

So, I go in and look around..... Lots of cool stuff..... Not exactly GoodWill prices..... Well,the prices really aren't THAT bad..... After looking around for about an hour,I have finaly made my decision..... A beautiful Brown&Black plaid wool hunting shirt!!!!! Regularly $72.95 on "sale" for $49.95 not exactly a "bargain" but WOW is it NICE!!!!! It's just about as PERFECT a bowhunting shirt as I could ever wish for!!!!! As I'm trying it on and looking at myself in the mirror,my wife comes up beside me and says "I like it,it looks like it was made for you". I turn and look into her eyes and say "Thank You, you're the best wife a guy could ever ask for"!!!!!

Yes My Friends,some day it really does pay NOT to go hunting!!!!!

Nice buy Chuck, I have several woolrich plaid shirts and I love them. But I'll tell you what, I have worn that sweater that you gave me every day so far this season, thanks Bro.

I showed her this thread and first she called me a "suck-up" LOL Then she told me to thank you all for your kind words!!!!! The Great One has surely blessed me with a wonderful companion!!!!! What I ever did to deserve this,only he will ever know..... BTW,here is another piece to the puzzle that I still haven't figured out in 22 years.....

SHE picked me!!!!! :confused: (why??? I'll never know, but I sure am glad that she did!!!)
