the story will get passed on,but the truth will get passed over............

The back of the bow is facing the target, the belly glass is facing the archer.  Which one has the brown woven glass.  We almost need a photo to get a handle on it.  It could be from one of a dozen or more companies back in the day.  No other markings probably means it had decals on the limbs at one time.

my mistake ....brown woven glass on back .... will post pics when photo bucket downsizes pics .....

Ya got me...but that's not hard. Maybe you could cut and paste this to a new thread in Trad History and Collecting. Those folks are amazing!

The bow LOOKS like it was made in '59.    :)    Have you shot it?

Does it have tip overlays?  It did have a leather grip.  US Archery and TriState (same company) used a lot of woven glass, but others did too.  If it has tip overlays, let us have a photo of them.

In 1959 the Pearson Cougar was made with a leather wrap grip, was 64" long, and looked much like your bow.  But that one was listed as having tan glass.  So we will keep looking.  The Cougar had no tip overlays.

The American Archery Company made their Cheetah in three lengths in 1959, including 64"; all had leather wraps and all had green belly glass.  Couldn't see what was on the back.  That's all I can find that is similar to your bow.

Touch off topic here but I shot my biggest buck with a bow 30 years to the date from when that was made!  Funny when I think about it...it will 20 years ago this fall, wow does time fly.
