Just got my heads in from Ron, he sharpened them up for me.

I have to say, I have seen sharp heads.  I've seen replaceable blade razors, finely honed snuffers and zwickeys that were sharpened by an old pro.  I've been a butcher and have seen some very sharp cutting instruments, been under the knife at the doctors office and cut my hand on obsidian.

I tell you what, these Grizzlies I just recieved from KME will make your eyes bleed.  They give me the shakes like a 12 year old girl cornered by an angry python, she just can't keep here eyes off those fangs.  My dilapidated state of mental acuity has never perceived this type of acute termination.  Their lethal nature is so salient upon first glance as to make me fear for my own safety.  I'll have to screw them on wearing leather gloves and walk softly with care in the woods.

I've never been so confident in my setup as I am this year.  Thanks in large part to members of the 'gang.

Thank YOU DesertDude for being so generous with these heads, And then shipping them out of the generosity of your heart to Ron for me.

and Ron for doing them justice.

the Grizzly's i got from Ron are the sharpest heads iv ever held...by MILES!

the man has talent, his nickname is fitting

if you'r sitting there and this is about the 15th post you'v read about how sharp his heads are and the quality of his products, if you think you have have a pretty good idea about what "scary sharp" is...

please spoil yourself and get him to sharpen some heads up for you, when you see the edge, graze it with your fingertip, slide it down your arm and hear the sound of hair popping off, the smile on your face will be worth ever cent

then you'l really know what "sharpster sharp" is

Funny thing, I just had the same experience! I ordered a 6 pack of Grizzly 190's from Ron, and when I got them I was so impressed that I just ordered another 6! I can get heads "sharp" if I work at it, but there is NO WAY I can get them "Rons level of sharp", even if I worked at it for a week. It really puts the meaning of "sharp" to a whole new level.

I shot this Grizzly 6 times and it still shaves hair! Never knew you can shave hair by just the weight of the arrow...Oh yeah, the blood is my ignorance not realizing how sharp theses things are, even after shooting them 6 times! Won't do that again!

I should be getting my grizzlies back in about a week and I can't wait.

They oughtta fly quicker and straighter too with aerodynamic leading edge..

Truthfully though its scary to think of loosing one with all those atoms in the air to be split.  Hate to have a repeat of Hiroshima...only need to kill one elk at a time, and save myself.   In fact, I think I just nicknamed my el grandes "little boy".

I had exactly the same experience.Ron did some Grizzlies for me and warned me to be careful.I had already heard that from others.I assured him that as a taxidermist of 40 some years,I handle scalpels and razor blades almost daily and not to worry.Still,I was a little nervous unwrapping those things.I can't remember being afraid of a blade before.

I managed to make about 2 hours after opening the package before blood started to flow.I had a lapse in concentration when picking up some small parts off a black mat I was working on.There was one grizzly on the mat and it is black also.In picking up a part, the tip of my middle finger touched the blade edge and I knew instantly I'd been had.

It wasn't a bad cut but bled like crazy and it was scary how lightly I touched that thing.I had to get a bandaid on it before I could continue working.

It is great work and it's important work. That sharp broadhead may be our most important piece of equipment. Thanks again Ron.In 2 1/2 weeks I'm going to try to get you a moose picture.

Yep i had the same experience........Ron is awesome.  I have his sharpener and have had him do some heads up for me. KME all the way.  Great product made by a great guy.

Allan

I have a feeling there will be a lot of dead animals that have had something to do with KME this season.  When the season starts we should get a "killed by KME" thread going.

I don't have the broadhead sharpener, but do have ron's knife sharpener. It is great. Talked to Ron and got a little coaching and I hunt with a guy who is one of the top guys at Duke. He volunteers once a month as a trama surgeon. I sharpened his knife as per rons instructions. He had a blank look on his face when he tested the blade.I think he was impressed. I told ron that when I get through with a knife, I can breath on the edge and can hear the molecules screaming as the are cut in half and fall off each side. LOL. great product. Don
