I've had some ask me questions about the chekmate sabre in the past, so I thought I'd post some pictures of my new one.  Just received it  yesterday.  This is going to be my 3D bow.  It's 68", pulling 41#@29".  The riser is Bubinga with flat cut red elm limbs.  Got to play with it some yesterday afternoon and today.  I like it.

It's a great looking bow. One doesn't see too many 68" long recurves. How long did you have to wait for it?

You're right, not too many bowyers make'em that long.  Personally, I like a longer bow.  Pulls real smooth in the last few inches of the draw.  The wait was a little over 8 months.

Chris, thanks for the info.  As you know, I've been curious about that bow for a long time.

Hey Jim....I'm very pleased with it.  Personally, I believe it's one of the most overlooked bows that chekmate makes.  If you've got a long draw length, it's a great fit.

Great looking bow! I think Chek-mate bows are quality made and great shooting bows, congrats.

Nice Bow!

hmmm, The grip looks a lot thinner in the throat than some of the newer chek-mates I've seen.

Did you special order the grip in any way?  Would you mind measuring the grip circumference and letting me know the number?

How long is the riser?

The grip feels really good. I just ordered a high wrist grip.  It's circumference is 5".  The riser is 23", end to end.

Thanks a lot for the info Chris. Appreciate it

Looks like a nice shooter.  I've liked my ChekMates  - just don't shoot them much after making my own bow.  Great bows with looks for a great price.  Deer and hogs have fallen to my old 56" Hunter I. Currently have a Falcon Deluxe and a 62" Hunter I in the stable.  Steve
