I want to get some aluminum arrows and I have checked the Easton chart My bow ( 51 @ 28) , calls for 1916 or 2016 depending on which weight broadhead used. I'm thinking of going with the 2016 and tuning with it , but I don't want a lot of arrow sticking out front. I tried a different spine poc one time and kept shortening my arrow to stiffen and got the arrow to short before I got good flight. Any help is much appreciated.

type of bow, how much center shot, draw length would be needed for a dead on answer. if bow is cut past center 2016 will work. if not try 1916 first.  works for me.

Jim, I'm shooting 2016, cut to 28", with 125 points from my Shakespeare Necedah, 45#, but I'm using an elevated stick-on rest (have been for five decades 8^)).  They fly perfectly.  I'm using a FF...450+ string on it.  The old Shakespeare is cut at center.  I believe either would work for you.

I think you will be fine with the 2016's. I can shoot them out of bows I have from 45#'s up to a 55# Wapiti. I have them cut at 29 1/2 and draw about 28.
