I probably change my mind faster than the weather changes in Texas but here goes. I'm shooting a recurve #45 @ 28" drawn to 29.25". Right now I can shoot either 30" 1916 or 30" GT 35/55 with my 250 grain broadheads up front and they're right beside or on top of each other. I like the 10GPI of the 1916 a little better and thought I'd check out the CE Heitage 150s. My question is that they are listed as .487 deflection and my 1916 is listed as .620 and my GT 35/55 come in @ .530. Are the 150s gonna be too stiff with my 250 out front or will I have to leave them full length? Looks like the 90s would be perfect but they only come 29".

I also think the 150's will be too stiff unless you leave them very long or add even more point weight.  You might call one of the sponsoer's that carry the Heritage 90's, I'm thinking the brand new stock is a little longer this year but we don't carry them so I'm not sure on that.

We have the CE Predator II's in 30/50 (.500 spine) that should work well for you, you can get a 30.25" max length arrow from those if you leave them full length.  Like the Heritage 90's, they are slightly smaller diameter so we carry the extra nocks and inserts as well.

I think the CE Heritage 150's may be alittle too stiff even with 250 grs. out front, plus you probably will be over 600 grs. total weight. When the 90's first came out they were a 29" length but the newer 90's are now 30.5" long.I shoot the 90's out of a couple of my bows, great arrow. But they are inbetween Axis and the standard size 5/16" carbons,so the brass inserts won't fit them unless you modify them.

I shot a 48# Mohawk LB with CX 150's @ 30" with a 50gr. brass insert and 125gr FP's/BH's....and they flew FINE.

I would agree with those above. Too stiff. When I first started in trad archery I bought some of these as my 1st set of arrows and never could get them to fly right for me. Wish I knew then what I know now!

I'm shooting the 150's out of my Black Widow 64" MA-II, 49#@29". My draw length is about 30.25" and the full length Heritage 150's will shoot 125 grain broadheads (Phantoms) pefectly out to my point-on range of 35 yards.
