Iowa non-resident Archery tag / zone9

Did anyone draw a Iowa non-resident Archery/zone 9. I live in zone 9 and would be glad to help with any questions etc.

Kendall:  I drew a tag.  I plan to hunt on a friend's farm west of Guttenberg.  How are the deer looking this year?  I am planning to start my hunt on Nov 1.  Jim

Jim, That's a real good area,close to the big river. We've had adequate rains this spring and summer. The bucks I've been seeing are looking real good. I work trail maintenance@ Effigy Mounds [2500 acres federal land] and see deer every day. Should be a great season! The second week of November seems like the best week around here.Give yourself 10 days-2 weeks if possible.Good luck Jim,I'm sure you'll see some real nice bucks. Kendall.

2009 non resident application status on right side of iowa dnr page.  Click on that and then you will just have to type in your last name.
