Im happy to vouch for CJC(above), quality strings at good price, fast service. He'll be making mine as long as he's making strings.

I just purchased 2 strings from Three Tree Strings. Great to deal with. Very well made strings.

I have ordered custom strings from several places so far CJC's strings have been my favorite.I have become a big fan of his 8125 10 strand strings.

Raineman makes some of the best I've used.

Bearbowman makes to nice string...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Bearbowman-- Steve Smith. Best I have seen.
Lots of bowmakers think so too. Like Morrison and Hill country.

BEARBOWMAN WOULD BE MY CHOICE.

There are lots of good string makers on this forum. Why not become one of them yourself. B-50 is fairly cheap and good to learn with. I learned years ago by reading a jay massey book. then refined my strings a bit by watching the "doing the twist" dvd. Not taking anything away from the guys that make them all the time, but with a little practice I'd say most folks who are into archery and have the coordination to shoot a bow, should be able to twist up a serviceable string. I know that when I need one, I can have one in about 15-30 minutes. Just my take. Sorry for bableing on and on. DB

I use bearbowman (Steve Smith) as well.  He makes a really nice string, offers professional service and is a host of information.
