I keep telling ya' I have a spot for you! I'm going down ASAP to build some brush blinds this year.

There is a barely accessible utility road waaaaaay in the back that is covered with clover. Your jeep could get in there and it is definitely a good spot. No other greenery around for a half mile in November! The deer hit it hard, but it is only an evening hunting area.

Anyway, I'm going to see if Matt and anyone else is up for a trip out that way to help put in some ground blinds.

Also, You know that strip of timber that runs along road 13 from the dam near camp all along the road? We have seen deer crossing the road many times right there. I think I might check that out and put a blind in there as well.

Lots of work to do if anyone wants to volunteer to help set up some brush blinds.

Anyone interested could go out for the weekend to make blinds and fish the ponds too.

Charlie, give me a push when you think your going down. The baby and I love to camp and Miranda is a fishing fool this year. We could make it a weekend and help out. Aaron hope you make it again, had a great time last year talking smack at the fire.

Great to hear from you. It looks like it will be from the 5th -8th. The poll is HEAVILY leaning that way.

Don,
Matt an I are looking at going out Aug 14-16 to set up blinds. Let me know if you want to come. We will camp at the same area we usually do.

And the winner is.....Nov 5th -8th! Put in on the calendars. I will be down setting up late morning/early afternoon on Thursday Nov 5th.        

More details to come, watch for the official 2009 thread! I will have all the permit info and shirt design in a week or two.

Also, anyone that wants to come help set up brush blinds, let me know. We are settiing them up, fishing and doing a little scouting August 14th-16th.      

We will be camping at camp K for all events.
