The best SPEED information a person can post on this site for the benefit of fellow archers, besides the bow's particulars, are the total weight of the arrow measured on an accurate scale AND the speed in fps measured with an accurate chronograph.

Many "fast bows" aren't all that fast when they're on the "clock."

Here is a couple of pics of my '09 ILF. I picked it up from a Trad Ganger just recently. It is a sweet shooter.

Mark is right I use a Indoor chrony setup and a Dillon Digital Powder scale combo to test my speed.I then record the info into a book and its mine forever!

No chrono and stuff like that to play with here.... It would melt in the heat. hahhah...  Not trying to be scientific, just observation is all...

Steel, that is one poppin looking setup there buddy.

You can pick up the basic F1 Chrony for about $85 to $100 shipped. Once you have one you can't live without it such a useful tool for archery. One thing I have found out is most bows don't shoot near as fast as people think when using a hunting weight arrow and string setup.I have also noticed at my 27" draw 50lb bow on average I lose about 1 to 1.5 FPS per 10grs of arrow weight I add on average. So if I went from a 600gr arrow to a 500gr arrow I would gain about 10 FPS on average. Steve I hate to say I think I am going to switch up that setup its sharp looking for sure. I have a set of the new Cheyenne longbow limbs with Bocote venneer going on that riser and those snake skinned limbs are going on a new Ebony/Tulip wood riser.

That is a beautiful bow!  I love my Cheyenne's and now that Bob is building longbow limbs, I am sure that there is a set in my future.
