In reference to learning tsalagi The Nation at Tahlequah, Ok has a free on line class which might interest you.  The latest session ended the last of June.  They will probably begin new classes this fall.  Check by going to Cherokee  www.cherokee.org

What is the shaft material used in the arrows.  I've used ramin wood, port orford cedar, dogwood and river cane.  Although hard to keep straight dogwood rates best for me because of their weight.  I achieve much better penetration with them.

Yea ive seen where they offer the classes and im planning on taking that course. Im glad they offer that.
The shafts are made from cane that i sanded the entire shaft to be smooth. i started with a shafts that were a little to thick then sanded to my desired spine.
