Myrtle Beach SC Hog Hunting??

Well, just came back from vacation and was wondering if there were any spots around that area to hog hunt??? And what the season for it is??

You won't find anything around South Myrtle or North Myrtle, you will have to go inland a tad maybe around conway sc which is just west of myrtle depending on where you are at, I would contact the local shops if they have an archery shop or the DNR for the best results.

I go to Myrtle beach for Jan and Feb months and love the beach but no hunting in the area. You have to go down in the tide water areas for hog hunting and they have a very long season. But Myrtle beach does have a great NFAA archery club called Sand dune archers...Check the SC NFAA site for there internet site and you may find a shooot when you are down there...I would love to find some retired trad shooters in the area so that I could take my checkmate recurve with me and find someone to shoot with this 68 year old archer.

Hello Tom. Here is the link for the SCDNR rules and regs. It will give you the info you need, although you might need to hunt for it.
