I'm going to be making my own sight for my bow. My plan is to make it out of some carved Osage and glue on a piece of atler to the tip and sand it to a good point. I'm going to use some sinew to wrap it on for looks and then secure it with some form of glue when i get it where i want it.

My question is... what glue should I use for this? I want something that can easily be removed and do NO harm to my bows finish. I was thinking rubber cement plus the sinew wound tight should hold it. Am i RIght?

I came from nothing and I brought it with me.

Barge cement would hold all by itself. If you add sinew you will have no problem. Barge cement can also be removed without damaging the finish.
