Never have tried the mini strapped on another pack. might have to try and find a used one for sale. I liked the idea of the catquiver just for keeping more arrows handy for stumping, keeping loose, whatever........ my bow quiver holds only 3 arrows and want to keep all those tipped with BH's.
Something like the mini might work strapped to side of my regular pack.

I know I really don't think I can confidently shoot and move quietly and smoothly enough with the quiver up my back. 30" arrows stretches that think out below my rump!  Found it hard to get into a kneeling position easily.

Ben,

I took a side stalker quiver and day pack when I went and it worked pretty good.  Next time I am going to try a Asbell type quiver, a bow quiver on a strap.  I am swearing off of Cat Quivers, too much exposed broadhead.  I used my Cat quiver to store arrows back in camp.

I used a Crooked Horn bino strap and it worked great.  My friend had one from Cableas and he had problems with it.
