A friend just bought this bow and allowed me to post it on here. I would sure love to see other black and white ebony bows. There used to be one on the Predator website but they must have taken it down.

This bow is a Rampart, made out of Colorado.

I think JC had a Morrison coming with black and white ebony. Bet it will be stunning...

Cool. My plan is to get black ebony on my bowhandle  :)

highplains, did you take any pictures of the limbs?

highPlains

Thanks for the pictures. I have not seen this wood too many times, I fell in love with it when I first saw it on the Predator website. I can see it in my future.

sndmn11: I did not. The limbs are real light colored bamboo. It's a sharp looking bow.

Love Black and White Ebony.   Like Steel said nice wood if you can find it, and pay for it.
Great looking bows.

High plains, the pic of that bow that used to be on the Predator website is the reason I started looking for the right piece of this wood. Your pic as well as these others only confirm B&W ebony is at the top of my list.

This is the block of wood I'm waiting to get dry enough for Bob to build another Shawnee riser. Bob thinks we can get at least one, maybe even two risers with enough left over for blanks for quite a few knives:

It's difficult to find a good piece of this big enough to build a riser with...it's REALLY tough to find a piece dry enough. This one has been drying for at least a year with who knows how long prior to me buying it. Could be another year before it's ready. I'm willing to wait for this one.

JC that is a beautiful piece of wood. I can't wait to see what that is going to look like, I bet the wait is killing you. Thanks for posting the picture.

cacciatore: I've only done a quick search but found that the wood is most commonly found in Laos, and SE Asia.
