First time stump shooting!

I shoot split hex shafts & really like them, they will take a head on hit on a solid stump & not break. I've tride aluminum & carbon, I get bent aluminums with the insert shoved back into the shaft & broken carbons with the insert shoved back into the shaft making it look like a banana. I'm sticking to woodies. Frank

When I was shooting Barrel tapered ash, I never broke one of the stumpin. Since my supplier went out of business, I shoot swagged aluminum. Every now and then a missed shot slams into a rock and ocassionally, the swag will bend. I just cut off the swag, install an insert and XL Broadhead adapter and keep shooting.

I made a mistake today and shot two arrows at the same clump of weeds. The second robin hooded the first and split it in two  :banghead:  Thats the first time I've done that with trad gear!
