Elevated rests are AWESOME...

Anyone have any pics of the different types of rests mounted? Never seen them ...

This is how my 1st Silvertip came.  Bear Weatherest covered with moleskin:

Pretty much the same setup. It works very well. I can shoot feathers or vanes with no changs in nock point. I have played around with the 4 vanes set ups but really havent seen a differance in flight, most of the time I shoot 3 vanes. Another advantage is that the vanes are way cheaper than feathers. I do shoot feathers also though when I can get a deal.

Here's the Hoyt I've used for decades...same style, not same rest 8^).   I just put a Hoyt hunter model on today...shoots exactly the same but a little more husky.

I've been using them for 25 years on all my recurves and never have had one come off I usually place some thin moleskin over the rest once it is all set up-  As a bonus in rainy weather you can shoot vanes if need be.
