Mine can.  It's a couple years old.  It came with a fast flight endless loop.  I have a Flemish Twist on it now, but it can handle the high performance with no issue.  I did notice it being any louder either, but my hearing isn't so good.  Try it.

Mine came with FF strings!

I have one of the 6 strand D97 strings on mine and it works fine.  That said, I seem to remember reading that there were some older Montana's that weren't meant for fast flight strings. I might be wrong though.  How would one know then? Does the tip overlays mean its fastflight compatible?
