JUST PICKED UP TWO BEAR RECURVES. ANYONE KNOW SUGGESTED BRACE HEIGHTS FOR THESE BOWS? I'M GUESSING 7 1/2 TO 8". AM I CLOSE???

George D. Stout

You are very close.  Set them in that area until you find what works best for you.

Don't know about the Griz Flatshooter, but the Super Kodiak...they didn't list a brace height in the literature.

They just listed a shooting clearance height/Strung height.  It's 61" for the 64" AMO Super I have and 57" for the 60" Super Kodiak.  That's 3" less than the AMO number for either version.

For my 64", that worked out to be a 8 1/4" brace height.  May need to tweak it some for yours to reduce hand shock and noise.  But that will get you close.

Hope that helps!

How long and what weight is your Super Kodiak?
chiger,

I generally eat whatever I can get catched up!

Flatshooter

Super is 60" AMO 55@28, Grizzly is 58" AMO 45#@28" Guess I'll play around a little. Thanks a bunch guys!

I like my 70's Grizzly that is 45# @ 28"  , 58" set at 8 to 8 1/4
