Shinken

Greetings Joe!

My son has been shooting a LH Cook's Mtn longbow for the past 3 years that he purchased used and it uses a B-50 string.  It is 64" and 55# @ 28".

The first day he ever shot the bow he got first place in a bow-bird competition and has never touched another bow since.  He likes it.

Cooks Mountain bows are well made.

Shoot straight, Shinken

Terry in Ore

My son has been shooting one of Roy's bow for 7 or eight years. Roy donated bows over a number of years to our clubs Trad. shoot. If the bow you are looking at has been taken care of I think you will be happy with your purchase.

Tree man

Roy Coursey makes excellent bows and is a really likable fellow. Over the years the pretty and nice shooting Cook's Mtn bows have evolved into some of the most beautiful lam bows available and they draw and shoot smoother than ever.

Blackhawk

Roy is very active in the archery community here in the Northwest with his attendance and participation at events, frequently donating his bows for auctions and raffles.  As others said, he's a great guy and makes a great bow.

BTW, he was trained by one of the best...Bill Stewart.
Lon Scott

WildmanSC

Lon,

Amen!  And Roy is now building a Multicam Takedown recurve in memory of Mr. Stewart.  He builds a very high quality and beautiful bow.
