This is probably a dumb question, but I want to clear my doubts anyway.

Can anyone tell me if I can use these two string materials in one bowstring?

Brownell B-50
BCY B-500

AFAIK they are both made from Dacron, have a 0.018 diamater and a 45lbs break strength, but I don´t know if they perform in different ways (stretch for example).

You are probably thinking why I want to mix the two, well, I like the pwetty colors they make.

Thanks for your help!

I know they are both dacron string materials, but for me I like to keep the brands the same and don't mix BCY and Brownell.Maybe there is not a problem, maybe it's in my head. When my Brownell B50 runs out I was going to try some of the BCY B500 for the colors my self.Even though they are both dacron I've heard there is slight differences in the manufacturing,I just don't like to mix them.

Orion

There are probably small differences in diameter and strength.  I wouldn't mix them.
