i posted the thread "which one" and i like the idea of buying a used bow off of one of the tradgang members. however there are so many to choose from and many dont have pics its very hard to decide. im 6' tall and i think using a yard stick and holding it straight out from my chest im a comfortable 28" draw. Im definately only interested in a longbow i like the old style but also am starting to like the reflex deflex shorter styles. can someone help me in making a good choice.i would ask that you send your opinions to my e-mail as to not offend anyone trying to sell a bow on this site. my email is josephhockensmith@comcast.net ,thanks again in advance for all your help

Joe, you might want to take a look at sponsor "My Next Bow", GD is very knowledgeable and you will cut out of lot of trial and error. Then proceed to find that bow you decide on.

Go to Denton Hill and shoot everything you can.

Groundpounder...are you right or left handed?  I have a like new, just refinished LH Great Northern Critter Gitter for sale that pulls 50 lbs at 26" and can be shot up to three inches past that draw...pm me if you are interested...

There is a Expo at Harrisburg this month. Last time I was there, which was 5 or 6yrs ago.  There was a place like a stadium inside the Expo(I guess thats what you would call it) that had a lot of bows, new and used. You couldn't miss it when you went by. It might help out with your selection. There's plenty there to see how the grips are different and how the styles and lenghts differ.
