I shoot the 125 grain screw-in 3 blade Snuffers. Why are they advertised at 125 grain when there actually 130 grain? I have a grain scale and earlier this fall I checked the weight of my arrow and BH.

Ghostman

They'll lose weight when you sharpen them.

I have weighed mine and they were 125gr out of the package. Around 122 after sharpening.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Orion

Most broadheads will vary by 5 grains plus or minus out of the package, sometimes a little more.  That's pretty much considered an industrial standard.

I have quite a few 160 gr Snuffers and the wts will vary by a few grains. I've had them 156 to 162 grains.

Thanks for the replys. It seems everyone I've weighed so far has came out to 130 grains on the nuts. I've checked 6 so far.
