Does Anyone know if the Beman MFX Classics have the same ID as the standard ICS?  I was going to try some of these arrows but I am not sure if the 100 grain inserts from 3 rivers will fit in these arrows.  Thanks

You need the inserts that are normally referred to as "Axis" inserts. Axis and Beman MFX are essentially the same  shafts. ICS shafts are larger diameter and use different inserts.

Bill and Mike pegged it. These are great arrows by the way.

Pardon me taking a detour with a related question.  I switched to Beman/Axis before the brass inserts were available and have always used 200-250 grain field points and broadheads. I have many people tell me that they switched to the 100 grain insert w/100-145 grain conventional point and the dynamic spine was not the same, i.e. the same length arrow wouldn't work and they had to tweak length again. If this is so, is it from the reinforcement from the isnsert in the last couple inches changing the way it flexes?

The mass of your total point/insert weight is spread over a larger length using the brass insert, vs mass concentrated out past the arrow with all mass in the point, so this effects dynamic spine, the latter will be softer. On the same line I find adding the small weights behind the brass insert effects spine very little.
