Even as I say it, it sounds wrong. But I Know how true it is. Especially after last year!!
First the Kzoo Expo!!! Then I will Have to Kick Everything in High gear For the Compton Rendezvous!!! June Sounds so Far away & yet it will get here Sooo Fast!!
With the econemy being what it is, we are All having to cut back! We have all had to make some tough decisions this past year. I also made a decision. I had to decide which Shoot I was going to. Mine was easy. As vendor coordinator I HAVE to be at the Rendezvous. Your Decisions will likely be much tougher! Please Keep this in mind when trying to decide. Compton I believe is the Only National organization Dedicated to traditional Archery. I Personally feel that they go to Great effort to Reach the youth & get them interested in our sport. The Board & Almost every member I have spoken to is Very interested in promoting our sport in a possitive way!
Those of you that have never been to the Compton Rendezvous Please consider yourself Asked to come Enjoy, Those of that have been there in the Past, Please come back & bring a friend along! Hope to see you There!!! Jeff Hren  :campfire:

Jeff, with the economy what it is I will buy you a dictionary to help with your posts! Oh nevermind, I'd have to look up the words to splain tem to ya anyhoo  :D  I still plan to hit K-Zoo and Compton's this year. Glad that the Compton board hasn't moved the rendevous yet, but I think some other regional events would be helpful for them.

I'm really looking forward to both the Kalamazoo show and Compton's.  In fact I've planned my vacation this year around Compton's.

Bill, bring a sexy looking SXT with longbow limbs about 51-52#. I hear curly myrtle is the current "hot" wood in veneers and risers!

Compton is in Berrien Springs Michigan.  Which is in the south west corner of the state.  It shouldnt be to bad of a drive depending on what part of WI your comming from.

Richard,

The Compton shoot is held in Berien Springs Michigan. A trad only event not to be missed. Lots of fun for everyone, especially the kids. I've made it every year so far and have no plans on missing any of them.
