I was given 2 bows today. They are both Dartons. The first is a Sure Flight Ranger( great shape). The second is an Executive target TD. My question is this. What kind of paint do I need to use on the metal riser. The limbs are perfect and the bow shoots fine, but the paint was chipped real bad. I stripped the riser down to bare metal and primed it....Thanks Roy

I know some guys have used Duracoat.  Google duracoat.  it is a paint used on guns as I remember.  some have used it on limbs and risers both.  One noteable one I remember was a preditor type pattern.

I'm going to leave the limbs alone. They are white faced with maple. I'm going to do the riser with a camelon color. It goes from copper to Green, depending on how the light is hitting it. I did my hard hat for work this way and its kinda cool looking. The bow is only 34# so it wont see the woods. Thanks for the replies...Roy
