Anyone done this? I'd like to take the factory insert out of some Woodsmen's I have. What are they in there with? Epoxy?
TIA
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

Smallwood

it's mounted with an industrial epoxy like jb weld, just heat and pull, heat and pull, till it breaks loose.

James Wrenn

They will come out with a little heat like said.

you might try boiling them instead of a direct heat though I am not sure this will work with epoxy?

Always be stubborn.

Naw, the boiling doesn't get hot enough. Heat the insert only and have big pliers on the head to act as a heat sink. Got to be careful not to over heat the broadhead steel or you'll ruin it's temper and lose yours!  :) ....O.L.
