31" Beman Classic 500 325 grains up front (125 grain Muzzy and 200 grains of brass inserts) 8 grians per inch weight tube. Should weigh in around 900 grains with 15-16% FOC. Ill be shooting this out of a 51 pound longbow. Think that will get the job done on a deer?

Sounds like it would go through a brick wall so ....yeah it'll go through a deer. How's it flyin for ya?
ONLY IN THE WOODS AND FIELDS DO I FEEL ALIVE, LIKE A HUNTER FROM TIMES PAST, ALTHOUGH THE HISS OF MY ARROW GOES FORTH, I AM TAKEN BACK, IT IS MY ESCAPE...

Yeah they fly real well. I figured it would do the job well lol. Cant wait till my next day off maybe Ill finally get a crack at a buck I have only seen onebuck all season and that was on the second day of the season. Plenty of does though.

I think for a deer size animal this may be over kill. However thats just my opinion.  i'm guessing your shooting this set up at very close range.  I'm thinking it may have a trajectory similar to a softball at much over 25 yds. I use right at 600 gr. out of all of my bows, re-curve or hi-bred LB's.  My bows range in weight from 50-65#. I use 160 grizly with what ever wt. steel insert it takes for my 5575 gold tips to just break 600 gr.  Fly great for me.

I wont be shooting past 25yds as the stuff I hunt is very thick. So trajectory is not a factor.
