I'm thinking about going to Elam Bend C.A., Gentry county, in northern MO on a hunting trip.  I haven't been there before.  Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this area or surrounding areas?  I had the opportunity to hunt private land in Gentry county a few years ago and I saw some awesome bucks & good deer numbers.  Anything I should be aware of or any tips berore I leave home in SW MO?

I turkey hunted this C.A. about 15-20 years ago. If I remember correctly it was a very nice property. The morning I turkey hunted was the only time I've hit a deer with my truck so there is definitely deer in the area    Gentry county produces some nice deer every year. Good luck.

RLA pm me for some details if you wish. I've been hunting there the past 2-3yrs.  Good experiences.
