Folks I found a great deal on Beman MFX Clssics size 340. I'm wondering if I can use this shaft with minor mods to head weight and shaft length, instead of the current setup of MFX 400's at 29.5" with 200 grains up front?
This is out of my 52# Mojostik at 28"....how much longer would I need to leave the new shaft to spine right? Thanks

I use 340,s but they are shooting out of 70# and I have 285 up frount, cut to 29 1/2. I,m sure they will be way to stiff,

Pass on them. Your drawing way to short and light for those.

If you put a lot of weight up front (250 - 350gn) and leave them long full length and trim as necessary.

I would pass as well, they will shoot for ya but you would need them full length and over 325 up front to get them to fly well. Shawn

I'm using .500 spine with a 29 inch draw and 51 lbs.  They'd be too stiff in my opinion.
I'm not putting up with this guys shit and dogging me.
