I'm new to the Tradgang forum and the sport of traditional archery and wanted to say hello. Looks like you have a great site here and I'm excited to be a member.

I quit bowhunting with my compound bow five years ago due to the fact that it lost its primative feel and became no fun. My kids were also in little league football and took much of my time after work and weekends.

Well, my kids have now grown older and I only have one son left in pony league so I now have some hunting time. A good friend gave me a longbow and I'm in love again. I will be bowhunting with my sons this year for the first time ever and also the first time in a long time for myself personally.

Anyway...I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Welcome aboard.

Traditional archery hunting has brought my youngest son and I much closer than we have ever been. Hope it does the same for you.

Enjoy every moment with your sons, no matter what you are doing.

Good to see you back in the trad fold! I have a similar story. This is a great site with really good people. I have learned a lot from their gracious help and wisdom. Mix in some good natured funning and that's Tradgang!

dvsbruce - welcome.

i am a perpetual newbie.  Everyone on this site is top-notch.  I steal all their ideas first and then throw away the ones I cannot make work.

You will love it here.

Welcome!  I too had been away from archery for several years, due to an injury, and I just found this site a week or two ago.  These guys are great!  Don't be afraid to ask questions here.  You will get good answers.
