I think it is the same deer and I am not even judging that by the rack, look at the body and the almost mane he has down his neck. Either way the buck or bucks are shooters. My question, and I ask because I know you know, is it the same buck? Shawn

It's the same deer the rack just looks diiferent because of the different agles

I'm going to say different deer, the still pic deer looks to have a heaver body and neck. Just my uneducated opinion

Well I'm finally convinced I have the answer......

I've had the feeling it was 2 diff. bucks and I got this video a couple weeks ago...still wasn't sure because the video wasn't convincing....but it looked to me like a straight 8.....

But then this past week I got this video(It's better on my home computer than it looks here) and could easily see that it is indeed a big clean 8 pt....so yes, there is indeed 2 diff. big bucks! 10 something pm heading north.....

The next morning he came by(heading south) at 7:06am.... First time I've gotten him while it's light enough to shoot!!!!!

Problem is....I simply don't have any time to hunt this spot with my work schedule and it's killing me!

In that daylight video you can see he's walking fast, like he knows he's late getting back to where he spends his days.....

Looks like you have them both pegged pretty good. Good luck.

Different deer. Don't look at the antlers (I know, that's hard). The still shot deer is an older buck. Note the heavier body, pot belly and slight sway back. The video buck is lighter of body, younger looking. Okay, and if you do have to look at the antlers, the tines are longer on the video buck.

Either one would suit me just fine!

Hope you get a chance to spend sometime at this stand Curt. Personally I would take either one if given the chance.

Curt, I have an idea you should shoot one of them and see if you still get the other on film    Or you can shoot one of them during bow season and the other with your bow during gun season, then compare the two.
