Well my friend shoots a 60lbs HCA compound bow and yesterday i took my Bear recurve and woodies over to his house because he lives in the country with nobody around and i can stretch it out a bit. So a half hour of shooting goes by and he says well lets line them up. He and i both love to drag race and i love to tell the story about me smokin him in my Mustang but anyway we line both bows  up at 25 yds.
We count to 3 and fire well he red lighted so to speak so we tried again and again. We shot about 5 times and he beat me of course but the diffeence a 25 yds was very very small less than a quarter second. He could not believe how fast my recurve was! He said wow stick and a string huh i said yep stick and a string.
Then i let him shoot it at 15 yds and he lost a woody!! LOL!
He told me i had a awsome set up that would be very effective and it for sure takes more skill to shoot a recurve.

do I timed shoot with him to really show off the speed of your bow. A wheele bow can't keep up with how fast you can nock a arrow and release it to hit a target..

25 yards is only 75 feet...it's simple mathematics
