Finally went out and got my first hunting license today. Went the whole 9 yards and got the Supersportsman license. I am so excited. I struggled through the Hunter Safety course this weekend. The second day was much better than the first. I scored 100% on the test even though they did give all the answers to it right before I took it. I apologize to anybody that I may have offended in my post about the course. It was very boring and not much useful info, but my intention was not to offend anybody. My intention was to question whether or not I wanted to hunt bad enough to sit through the 3 days of courses. Well, now its over, I have my license, and I got permission today to hunt 88 acres of primo deer habitat.I'm glad I decided to take the courses so far. Not only did I take the course, but my 15 year old son took the course with me. I am truly blessed. In a couple weeks I will be in the beautiful Adirondack mountains with adirondacken, bowspirit, woodchucker, stone knife, his son, my son and a few other great guys, and my wife said I had her blessing! It is going to be a great weekend! Thanks for the invitation Ken.

Now kill something and you'll want to take the course every year to keep up the mojo!    :D

Congrats and good luck.

Congrats.. Take your son hunting and set the lifestyle for him.. The time and effort will have paid off when you realize how much this will effect his whole life.

That's not a date, Ken, that's a milkwagon!  :D
What happened to her ear? Bit it too hard while breaking her to the saddle?

Congrats.  Took my NV course last year. Best use of time I've spent w/o the family in some time.

Very cool - time to hunt.

By the way, I have no idea what a "Supersportsman license" is but it sounds to me like you may be obligated to wear a cape.

Grats on your first license!
