Jon I am not a fan of alum. but I would go 2018 ( smaller shaft thicker side wall a little stiffer maby.) What broadhead weight do you want?
Also what draw length and how long do you want the arrow to be???
Carbon and wood are my go two but I do have a doz. 2016 that I am shooting right now.
shoot straight

Jon, I use 2114's with 145 grain field point or broadheads. My arrows weight in at 500 grains. I tried 2113's with 125grain and 145 grain field tips for 3-D's. I found them to bare shaft to lite of spline. I cut my arrows 29" for this setup. My bow weight is 55# at 28".
My bows are a Bear takedown recurve and a Wes Wallace Longbow. I use a brush rest on the recurve.

With a 145 grain head, a 2115 should be good also if the arrow is 29".
