I'm a big fan of euro mounts. Something more dignified I think. Most disagree and people can do whatever they want but I just find mounted heads kinda tacky. Okay for a hunting lodge or something but I wouldn't want it over my fireplace. Just too... I dunno.

Something about the skull is more of an admittance of its death than having a representation of it on the wall I guess. And I guess because of that I feel its more respectful than having it entire head on the wall.

But that is just me. And I can totally understand people frankly not wanting to decorate their house with skulls. Mounts are prettier, but creepy to me. Like I can appreciate a wax museum, but I wouldn't want a model in my house everyday. But I can see how someone would feel the reverse about skulls. So to each their own.

And deer are perfect for Euro's-they look too 'trusting' with fur. Hogs don't look timid at all with the fur-JMO. Like someone said earlier.....to each their own.
