Would This Be Contradictory?

I'm not too big on gadgets but i'm liking this one. Here's my question: Let's say a couple fellers are filming all traditional footage for a dvd project  ;) . Would it  be a  bad idea to use this product over a mock scrape, during the month of November? Keep in mind it's not a plug for sponsorship, no affiliation whatsoever with this item. Just saw the commercial & like it.

code blue is some good stuff. I haven't heard anything bad. Use it, don't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks for the response. I'm concerned if it would contradict the fact that we're shooting traditional bowhunting footage, but we have an electronic scent dispenser hanging in a tree, over a mock scrape. Am I making sense? I want to minimize the ammo for the critics, which are inevitable, but more inportantly i don't want to do anything to unfavorably misrepresent traditional archery/bowhunting. Maybe I'm thinkin too much?

I had a customer ask me for a automatic dispenser and the cost.  I asked what was he using it for and he told me about this product.  I was skeptical but told him that if he could get me a can, I would give him 2 dispensers for free.  Well I tried it and it worked like a charm.  4 hunts 4 bucks came in to check it.  It is easy to use and will last longer than other scents and it continues to put scent out over your entire hunt unlike pouring scent on the ground.  I don't use it for early season but during the pre-rut and rut it's deadly.

I put out some of that code blue last season and was dripping it down a trail towards my blind. When I got to where I was to hang the scent, I turned around and there was an 8 pointer not 30 feet away right where I started dropping scent. As soon as I turned around I saw him standing there, He snorted at me and then took off. It scared the hell out of me and I just about fell over backwards. My bow was 15 feet from me on the ground and there was nothing I could do. This whole process took about a minute and a half after I had arrived at my hunting area. That code blue is good stuff.  And, no, he did not come back  :banghead:

Does it matter what type of deer you are hunting with these scents?

Are you referring to the scent or the electronic dripper? I made drippers back in the 70's  with a regulator and tube from an IV.

Use what works for you.  I never had any success with attractant scents.  Maybe it's just where I hunt.

What is traditional anyway?  To each his on, if it works for you then go for it.  At least it will not cause any harm to the environment and won't involve high fences and other dubious measures to obtain a buck.  Good luck.
