iron wood for limbs

I would think that would be tough to do, Beaver. Just because getting a piece long enough, without any voids, would be difficult. It has so many bumps,and holes, and open pockets...you might be able to find a source.

If you do, let me know. I make knives out of the stuff and love the way it works...if you have to buy a large piece it will be expensive...but I can probably help by taking the smaller pieces you end up cutting off for my work and help cut your cost.

now the iron wood i am using is something that grows here in texas, and i cut a pretty llong long a while back.   i dont know if it is the same iron wood like Black Widow uses.
