Very nice Kenny. What I enjoy is the fact you get so excited about what you make. It's like you are getting them yourself. It's also why I've heard so many good things about your service and product. Great job!

I think they look great...do the knots make any difference?  I was a bit leery when I was looking for wood for a new bow, they had some cedar at the store when I bought some Marblewood this weekend; I'm hoping to have a bow made out of.

I've seen a few bows made with Cedar lams and they look great, plus it has to smell nice when you're making them.

Josh,I've built 2 bows with cedar, both with red elm core and cedar veneers. No problems yet,1 has knots, the other doesn't. I did have a bowyer that I sold some to tell me he loves the way it shoots.

Kenny that's some sweet looking cedar. Knots are the only way to go.

Nice stuff Kenny, I built a couple of bows with bamboo cores and that Red cedar under glass and they were real shooters!

Dano, do you mean bamboo on a juniper stave? I've thought about trying this. I think I have a board that might be clean enough to try. The boo wouldn't overpower the cedar would it?
Kenny, what do you think about putting glass on as a backing only like you would bamboo? I haven't heard of anyone doing this. But they probably have.

Bona, I'm not much of a selfbow guy,but I'd feel better with glass on both sides, but thats just me.I'd have the same ? about the glass overpowering the cedar.
