A buddy is thinging of geting a bow from bob lee  but he can,t make up his mind recurve or longbow ,you guys are the best source of info out there let us know ,PROS AND CONS

Arwin

Buy mine and he can have both,LOL! All kidding aside I like them both. The recurve limbs are fast and the longbow limbs draw smooth. Both are pretty quiet to me.
Just one more step please!

I own both and like both.  The recurve limbs are a little faster pound for pound but the longbow limbs are a tad quieter...the "feel" is a little different but both are good shooters.

I personally like the longbow riser better myself...just like the way it looks better but can't really tell a difference in how they shoot.

If buying new I would get the t/d longbow then keep his eye on the classifieds for some recurve limbs.  You'll see more recurve limbs for sale than the longbow limbs.

If he's talking one piece bows the only ones I've owned or shot much are the "Stick" longbow and the discontinued "Thunderbolt" recurve.  They are both good bows but the T/D is the one to get IMO.

Yeah the one Arwin is selling is a deal.

The Hunter model is being discontinued and they're having a sale on bows to go. See their web page.
