I used the edit and resize option on photobucket but when I went to post them on tradgang they were back to the original size.  What am I doing wrong?

try clicking on "apply" and then "replace existing image"

I find webshots easier to use.  Add your pics and then click on the picture you want to post and webshots allows you to choose from a picture size you would like to post without requiring you to resize the original photo in the album.

I reckon so

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/  may be something for ya to check out. Easy to resize em before they even get to photobucket.

You're not saving your resized image.  I have no trouble with photobucket......  Make sure you are saving the resized image.

You can also resize pictures before you upload them to photobucket or similar sites by:

1.) Go to the folder where your pictures are
2.) Select a picture and right click (w/mouse
)
3.) Select "Resize pictures on the menu" select one of the sizes that works for you
4.) Hit OK.

That's it.  This will make a copy for you and not resize the original.  It will transfer to the storage site faster being smaller too.
