Just was wondering how far up from center your nock is. I shoot mine 3/8 with my  pmav. I just replaced the string and this one seems to vary a little. I more thing, i put the new string on and got my brace height set, shot a few round and my brace height dropped a little....Why?  :knothead:    :banghead:

the string needs to be shot in, a minimum of probably 100 shots ..leave it strung,I do mine it wont hurt it and will help get the stretch out even more
Its caused usually by an untretched string after its twisted up by the maker..I dont pre stretch mine..I just build them close

My MA likes a brace of 8 5/8" and I put my nock at 5/8" above center.  If it's a Widow string, it will not take many shots to stretch it and they pretty much stay there once shot in...and I leave it strung.

you can get alot of the streach out by rubbing it briskly with a cotton cloth, untill ya can feel a little heat, I ususlly do mine before putting any silencers on, this gets almost all the steach out. but to answer the question, my widows seem to like a 3/8 nock with a 22/64 shaft
