Could you skin a bow with them?

Now I'm no expert on carp but I have to say this.  I would give the regular ol' carp a try on the table; maybe I'd like it, maybe not but this Mirror carp ... I don't think I could move past that ugly toxic waste dump look it's got going on.  Partial scales, some big, some little? That just ain't right.  It has to be one of the ugliest fish I've ever seen.  For once I can say I'd rather eat an opossum.
Do or do not ... there is no "try"

I think he should sell that sell that thing on E***, there's got to be a design in there that would appeal to somebody, a new concept and electronic fish market.

In fact, these were breed especially for being tablefare! Over here, all you'll ever get is this kind of carp. No one would think of buying the wild specimens with fully scaled bodies - weired hmmm?!

I saw another one at the same place again today.  I've bowfished this particular area for 17 years and have never seen a mirror carp.  Must be a new intruder, invading the invasive species!

I probably bowfishing for ten years or more until I shot my first mirror carp. Then one season, it seemed one out of ten were of that variety. To me, it's always neat to pull in a mirror carp and look at the unique scale pattern. Call me odd, but I think they're cool.

Man I can't believe you guys didn't know this. I was watching "Cheers" years ago and Cliff the mailman said it was a little known fact that carp shed after the spawn! Dang man come on! Even I knew this.

That is called an Isrial Carp. They were impoted to eat alge along with German Carp. A friend of mine use to have them brought into his private lakes. If they are in clean water they are good to eat with less of a mud streak down  the middle of them.
