Fiberglass for a kid bow?

Probably not the brightest of questions but here goes anyway...
I am planning on laminating fibreglass between black Walnut veneers for a kids bow, can I use glassfibre and resin like for car body work to make the inside or fibreglass instead of the sheet glass you get from bowbuilders?
the bow is for a 4year old girl.
Here is what the riser looks like so far - far from finished.Made it from Tulip wood.
Any comments and critisism welcome.
