Shot a hybrid longbow while up at bear camp & really enjoyed it, started looking at different options.

Found Tony Rider who makes Droptine Custom Bows, after a discussion decided to have him build me one of his 60" vipers.
 
 
Tony is going to take some of my grandfathers old bucks he shot & incorporate the antlers into the bow somehow, excited to see how it turns out!

You should know that Chad Francis of Lost Creek Archery is right here in Iowa and makes an awesome short longbow!

if you have a draw length of 28" or more I would definitely suggest a hybrid longbow from Chad Francis at Lost Creek over the Viper.
